This 4 nights and 5 days package will let you explore some of the most remarkable Buddhist Monasteries in Leh Ladakh which includes Shey Monatery, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery and Stok. While in Leh, you’ll also visit Shanti Stupa which offers panoramic view of the Leh Town and one of the best photo ops of the town along with Leh Palace where the former monarch of Ladakh resided. And that is not all as you will be taken on topof Khardung La, the highest motorable pass in the world.
EXPEDITION DETAIL
DAY 1 : ARRIVAL AT KATRA
Katra – Vaishno Devi Temple – Dalhousie – Khajjar.
DAY 2 : VAISHNO DEVI TEMPLE
After breakfast at hotel, collect tourist yatra slip from Katra Main Chowk enroute, and then head towards Holy Shrine Mata Vaishnodevi Temple (14 kms) for darshan. Opt for Doli, Horse, or a Helicopter Service (prior booking is required). Return back to Katra. and Overnight Stay in Katra.
DAY 03 : KATRA – DALHOUSIE
After breakfast at hotel, check out from hotel, and proceed to Dalhousie. Evening free for local sightseen, and Overnight Stay in Dalhousie.
DAY 04 : DALHOUSIE – KHAJJIAR – DALHOUSIE
After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Khajjiar at 8 am for local sightseeing. Return back to Dalhousie. and Overnight Stay in Dalhousie.
DAY 05 : DEPARTURE FROM DALHOUSIE
After breakfast, check out from hotel at 6 am. Drop at Pathankot Railway Station. Proceed to home by train.
